2014 Reading Challenge Progress: May

Hi guys, so as you know I'm doing 3 different challenges this year, throughout the whole year just to stay motivated with my reading. Here is my progress for May. Also I have started a new Summer Reading Challenge, which I will include at the bottom.

Goodreads
This year my goal is to finish 60 books within the year. Before May, I read a total of 20 books. During the month of May I read 10 books, putting me at a total of 30 books, which is 50% complete the challenge with 5 books ahead of schedule.

Books Read:
A Tale of Two Cities by Charles Dickens
The Assassins Blade by Sarah J. Maas
- The Assassin and the Healer
- The Assassin and the Desert
- The Assassin and the Underworld
- The Assassin and the Empire
Catcher in the Rye by J.D. Salinger

Series Challenge
This is a reading challenge that focuses on finishing series. This challenge is hosted by Octavia from Read. Sleep. Repeat. My goal is to complete 12 series this year. You can check out my original post for this challenge here.
This month I haven't finished a Series, but I've read Of Triton which helps me come closer to finishing the Syrena Legacy series. But fair not, next month I will be finishing lots of series because a lot of books are coming out.

Edelweiss & Netgalley Challenge
This challenge is hosted by Emily from Falling For Ya, my goad is to read 25 books. Check out my main post about this challenge here.
Books Read:
Defy by Sara B. Larson

I've only read 3 books towards this challenge, I really need to pick things up. Hopefully I can do that in June when my exams are done.

Summer Reading Challenge

This challenge is hosted by Katie's Book Blog. This is a summer reading challenge to help you put a dent in your TBR pile. This challenge goes from the beginning of May to the beginning of September, and even though my summer technically doesn't start till the middle of June, I decided to start it in May anyways. My goal for this challenge is to finish 25 + books.
In the month of May I read 10 books, which means I only have to read 15 more to complete my goal. All the books are the same as the Goodreads Reading Challenge above so you can check those out above.

If you ever want to track my progress throughout the month, you can check how I'm doing in the side bar on my blog, which I update frequently.

Thanks so much for reading,
Leave a link in the comments to your 2014 Reading Challenges, I'd love to see them.

  1. You are doing great with your challenges. I set my goal at 20 only because I read slow and due to work, school, and kiddos...well...you get the point! Keep up the great reading!! You can meet your goals!!

    1. Oh I know right, I'm debating raising it, but I have a feeling that I'm not going to be reading too much when it come to September and October so better be on the safe side.
