Synopsis: The door to the massive New York Times bestselling HOUSE OF NIGHT series has closed.  Now, Kristin Cast kicks down a new door to welcome her millions of fans to her latest sizzling series.

There is a world that runs parallel to our own, a world in which the souls of the damned are caged, where they are looked over by the Furies, and where they spend eternity in torment, mirroring the devastation and mayhem they created when alive.

Someone has opened the cage.

The worst of terrors has crossed the barrier that separates our world from theirs, and the Furies send a great, albeit untested warrior—their only son, Alek—to try to bring those souls back. He is young and handsome, headstrong and impulsive, and he won’t be able to do it alone.

Eva has grown up, beautiful and beloved, but surrounded by secrets. First, she will be hunted in an ancient feud that will threaten her life. Then, she will become the hunter.

With the police closing in and two worlds on the verge of crumbling around them, Alek and Eva must find each other, discover the limits of their powers, and work together to save everything they hold dear, including one another. Blending elements of mythology with the dazzling storytelling that her fans have devoured through the House of Night series, Kristin Cast weaves a spellbinding and passionate tale that starts a thrilling new series with an explosive charge.

Book Nine in House of Night Series

Goodreads Review : Zoey is finally home where she belongs, safe with her Guardian Warrior, Stark, by her side, and preparing to face off against Neferet - which would be a whole lot easier if the High Counsel saw the ex-High Priestess for what she really is. Kalona has released his hold on Rephaim, and, through Nyx's gift of a human form, Rephaim and Stevie Rae are finally able to be together - if he can truly walk the path of the Goddess and stay free of his father's shadow...

But there are new forces at work at the House of Night. An influx of humans, including Lenobia's handsome horse whisperer, threatens their precarious stability. And then there's the mysterious Aurox, a jaw-droppingly gorgeous teen boy who is actually more - or possibly less - than human. Only Neferet knows he was created to be her greatest weapon. But Zoey can sense the part of his soul that remains human, the compassion that wars with his Dark calling. And there's something strangely familiar about him...

Will Neferet's true nature be revealed before she succeeds in silencing them all? And will Zoey be able to touch Aurox's humanity in time to protect him - and everyone - from his own fate? Find out what's destined in the next thrilling chapter of the House of Night series

My Rating : 1/5 stars.

My Review : I tried reading this book once... I gave up!

Book Eight in House of Night Series

Goodreads Review : Exonerated by the Vampyre High Council and returned to her position of High Priestess at Tulsa’s House of Night, Neferet has sworn vengeance on Zoey.  Dominion over Kalona is only one of the weapons she plans to use against Z.  But Zoey has found sanctuary on the Isle of Skye and is being groomed by Queen Sgiach to take over for her there.  Being Queen would be cool, wouldn’t it?  Why should she return to Tulsa? After losing her human consort, Heath, she will never be the same – and her relationship with her super-hot-warrior, Stark, may never be the same either…

And what about Stevie Rae and Rephaim?  The Raven Mocker refuses to be used against Stevie Rae, but what choice does he have when no one in the entire world, including Zoey, would be okay with their relationship?  Does he betray his father or his heart?

In the pulse-pounding 8th book in the bestselling House of Night series, how far will the bonds of friendship stretch and how strong are the ties that bind one girl’s heart?

My Rating : 2/5 stars.

My Review : This series was really good at the start but now i feel like its being dragged on way too long! I love all the characters, except for Zoey and Neferet! They both just make me mad and it made me start to hate them! I don't think i could continue reading this series, I'm bored with it now. Good luck to Stevie and Rephaim, I ship them.

Book Seven in House of Night Series

Goodreads Review : Y’all need to get yourselves together. Here’s a newsflash from the only High Priestess you have left at this dang school: Zoey isn’t dead. And believe me, I know dead. I’ve been there, done that and got the fricken tee-shirt.

Zoey Redbird is the youngest High Priestess in House of Night history and is the only person—vamp or fledgling—that can stop the evil Neferet from raising all kinds of immortal trouble. And she might just have a chance if she wasn’t so busy being dead.Well, dead is too strong a word. Stevie Rae knows she can bring her BFF back from her unscheduled va-cay in the Otherworld. But it’s going to take a lot more than hoping to bring Zoey back. Stevie Rae will have to give up a few secrets of her own..

My Rating : 2/5 stars.

My Review : These books are dragged on way too much! There is going to be like 15 books in this series. I understand 6 but not 15.
The books aren't even that good.
Think of something better. It's not that hard.

Book Six in House of Night Series

Goodreads Review : So…you’d think after banishing an immortal being and a fallen High Priestess, saving Stark’s life, biting Heath, getting a headache from Erik, and almost dying, Zoey Redbird would catch a break.  Sadly, a break is not in the House of Night school forecast for the High Priestess in training and her gang.  Juggling three guys is anything but a stress reliever, especially when one of them is a sexy Warrior who is so into protecting Zoey that he can sense her emotions.  Speaking of stress, the dark force lurking in the tunnels under the Tulsa Depot is spreading, and Zoey is beginning to believe Stevie Rae could be responsible for a lot more than a group of misfit red fledglings.  Aphrodite’s visions warn Zoey to stay away from Kalona and his dark allure, but they also show that it is Zoey who has the power to stop the evil immortal.  Soon it becomes obvious that Zoey has no choice: if she doesn’t go to Kalona he will exact a fiery vengeance on those closest to her.  Will Zoey have the courage to chance losing her life, her heart, and her soul?  Find out in the next spectacular installment in the House of Night Series, Tempted.

My Rating : 2/5 stars.

My Review : Of all the people who could have died in this series, they pick "that person."
WHY COULDN'T ZOEY HAVE DIED. It probably would have made the books more enjoyable tbh.
Yet another terrible book in the series.

Book Five in House of Night Series

Goodreads Review : What if the hottest guy in the world was hiding a nameless evil, and all he wanted was you?

At the start of this heart-pounding new installment of the bestselling House of Night series, Zoey’s friends have her back again and Stevie Rae and the red fledglings aren’t Neferet’s secrets any longer.  But an unexpected danger has emerged. Neferet guards her powerful new consort, Kalona, and no one at the House of Night seems to understand the threat he poses.  Kalona looks gorgeous, and he has the House of Night under his spell. A past life holds the key to breaking his rapidly spreading influence, but what if this past life shows Zoey secrets she doesn’t want to hear and truths she can’t face?

On the run and holed up in Tulsa’s Prohibition-era tunnels, Zoey and her gang must discover a way to deal with something that might bring them all down.  Meanwhile, Zoey has a few other little problems.  The red fledglings have cleaned up well – they’ve even managed to make the dark, creepy tunnels feel more like home – but are they really as friendly as they seem?  On the boyfriend front, Zoey has a chance to make things right with super-hot ex-, Erik, but she can’t stop thinking about Stark, the archer who died in her arms after one unforgettable night, and she is driven to try to save him from Neferet’s sinister influence at all costs.  Will anyone believe the power evil has to hide among us?

My Rating : 2/5 stars.

My Review : Zoey does not need any more boyfriends! You'd think she'd learn from her previous experiences, but no!
First of all I can't tell why the boys like her in the first place, shes stupid, and arrogant. From the descriptions I don't see her as a good looking person either. Yet somehow she has like 20 boyfriends.
Then again, the boys are pretty stupid themselves. So it kind of makes sense.
I cannot tell you how badly I am dissapointed in these books. They had so much potential at the beginning, anything that reminds a person of Harry Potter is like BRILLIANT! Yet the authors completely ruined the amazing idea with stupid characters and terrible action.
Would not read this ever again! EVER

Untamed by P.C. Cast

Book Four in House of Night Series

Goodreads Review: Life sucks when your friends are pissed at you. Just ask Zoey Redbird – she’s become an expert on suckiness. In one week she has gone from having three boyfriends to having none, and from having a close group of friends who trusted and supported her, to being an outcast. Speaking of friends, the only two Zoey has left are undead and unMarked. And Neferet has declared war on humans, which Zoey knows in her heart is wrong. But will anyone listen to her?  Zoey's adventures at vampyre finishing school take a wild and dangerous turn as loyalties are tested, shocking true intentions come to light, and an ancient evil is awakened in PC and Kristin Cast's spellbinding fourth House of Night novel.

My Rating : 2/5 stars

My Review : Zoey is one of the most hated people in the school. (I think she deserved this tbh.) And now she has no friends and no boyfriends.
This was a positive for this book, because we get to see a new side of Zoey where shes more focused on being a high priestess.
This story is getting very repetetive, the characters always do the same thing, all the descriptions are the same. There's no variety in language (except for Damian always commenting on people's vocabulary, which got boring eventually too.)

There's a new character, his name is Stark. I can already tell whats going to happen with him and Zoey in this story. Another reason why the plot line is so obvious.

These books are a waste of time to read, I would have rather spent my time hitting my head against a wall.

Book Three in House of Night Series

Goodreads Review : Dark forces are at work at the House of Night and fledgling vampyre Zoey Redbird’s adventures at the school take a mysterious turn.  Those who appear to be friends are turning out to be enemies.  And oddly enough, sworn enemies are also turning into friends.  So begins the gripping third installment of this “highly addictive series” (Romantic Times), in which Zoey’s mettle will be tested like never before.  Her best friend, Stevie Rae, is undead and struggling to maintain a grip on her humanity. Zoey doesn’t have a clue how to help her, but she does know that anything she and Stevie Rae discover must be kept secret from everyone else at the House of Night, where trust has become a rare commodity.  Speaking of rare: Zoey finds herself in the very unexpected and rare position of having three boyfriends. Mix a little bloodlust into the equation and the situation has the potential to spell social disaster.  Just when it seems things couldn’t get any tougher, vampyres start turning up dead. Really dead. It looks like the People of Faith, and Zoey’s horrid step-father in particular, are tired of living side-by-side with vampyres.  But, as Zoey and her friends so often find out, how things appear rarely reflects the truth…

My Rating : 1/5 starts

My Review : This book was terrible. I don't want to say what happens and ruin the book. But if you've read the other two books, and are iffy about reading the next one. DON'T!
This was definitely a book I wanted to throw against the wall for being so bad. The characters are stupid and I cant stand them.
Just don't read this... like ever! You will regret it.
I'm pretty sure I lost IQ points while reading this.

Book Two in House of Night Series

Goodreads Review : Fledgling vampyre Zoey Redbird has managed to settle in at the House of Night.  She's come to terms with the vast powers the vampyre goddess, Nyx, has given her, and is getting a handle on being the new Leader of the Dark Daughters. Best of all, Zoey finally feels like she belongs--like she really fits in. She actually has a boyfriend…or two. Then the unthinkable happens: Human teenagers are being killed, and all the evidence points to the House of Night. While danger stalks the humans from Zoey's old life, she begins to realize that the very powers that make her so unique might also threaten those she loves. Then, when she needs her new friends the most, death strikes the House of Night, and Zoey must find the courage to face a betrayal that could break her heart, her soul, and jeopardize the very fabric of her world.

My Rating : 3/5 stars

My ReviewThis is the second book in the House of Night series. The first book was okay, it made me a little angry but it reminded me of Harry Potter so I decided to continue reading this series. Big mistake.
In this book Zoey is all settled, she is the new "queen" of the school since she became the leader of the Dark Daughters. On the outside, humans are being killed and the House of Night is blamed. Zoey makes it her mission to solve this mystery.
So in this book Zoey has 3 boyfriends. I love love-triangles, but having 3 boyfriends is just a little too much. There has to be a point where she needs to make up her mind. What made me mad the most, is that basically she was calling other people sluts and other names while she was probably the biggest one of all.
Friendship is really important in my life, and seeing Zoey treat her friends like a big poo was just kind of painful to read. You need friends more than anything, and having your friends hate you and turn on you was all her fault and just stupid of her.
I am NOT looking forward to read the next one.

Book One in House of Night Series

Goodreads Summary : The House of Night series is set in a world very much like our own, except in 16-year-old Zoey Redbird's world, vampyres have always existed.  In this first book in the series, Zoey enters the House of Night, a school where, after having undergone the Change, she will train to become an adult vampire -- that is, if she makes it through the Change.  Not all of those who are chosen do.  It's tough to begin a new life, away from her parents and friends, and on top of that, Zoey finds she is no average fledgling.  She has been Marked as special by the vampyre Goddess, Nyx.  But she is not the only fledgling at the House of Night with special powers.  When she discovers that the leader of the Dark Daughters, the school's most elite club, is misusing her Goddess-given gifts, Zoey must look deep within herself for the courage to embrace her destiny--with a little help from her new vampyre friends.

My Rating : 3/5 stars

My ReviewThe House of Night Series starts off with Zoey Redbird being marked and becoming a vampire. Since she was marked she must attend the school called the House of Night. This is a special school for all vampires. Zoey learns that she is not just a normal fledgling, the goddess Nyx granted her special powers which make her more powerful than even some of the students. In this book you follow Zoey on her adventures throughout the school, you see how shes adjusting to her new life, and how she chooses to deal with the queen b of the school.
I would definitely recommend this book to people who love Harry Potter, the books are very much alike, except instead of wizards there's vampires.
This book was a very short read, I felt like it didn't have much detail. The author did not use a good choice of words, the way she was writing just didn't make sense, she was using swear words but the writing was fit for like 10 year olds. Usually i pick a quote to put at the beginning of my reviews, I pick it based on either amazing moments in the story, or just a beautiful sentence. I could not decide because there were no good quotes.
The character really made me mad. She's not very smart, yet she chooses to act like a stupid smart ass. I love to connect to the characters as much as i can because it makes the book easier to read. Me and Zoey have nothing in common, and she makes me angry. I will not be reading this book again.
