In The Fiery Heart, Sydney risked everything to follow her gut, walking a dangerous line to keep her feelings hidden from the Alchemists.

Now in the aftermath of an event that ripped their world apart, Sydney and Adrian struggle to pick up the pieces and find their way back to each other. But first, they have to survive.

For Sydney, trapped and surrounded by adversaries, life becomes a daily struggle to hold on to her identity and the memories of those she loves. Meanwhile, Adrian clings to hope in the face of those who tell him Sydney is a lost cause, but the battle proves daunting as old demons and new temptations begin to seize hold of him. . . .

Their worst fears now a chilling reality, Sydney and Adrian face their darkest hour in this heart-pounding fifth installment in the New York Times bestselling Bloodlines series, where all bets are off.

My Rating: 5/5 stars

My Review:
"Don't let them change me"

Silver Shadows is the 5th book in the Bloodlines series. With the perfect story line and and character development, this series continues to be one of my favorites.

Sydney Sage has been captured by the Alchemists, and while she fights to stay sane and remember those she loved, Adrian desperately tries to find and free her. But with no leads, and the Alchemists secretive nature, its nearly impossible to find Sydney.

This book does not disappoint when you compare it to the rest of the series. I have waited 9 months for this book to come out, and what do I do, I read it in a day. It was that good. Now the only problem is that I have to wait till February for The Ruby Circle to come out.

So even though Sydney and Adrian are apart in this story, trust me when I say that it does not get boring and you still definitely experience your Sydrian feels. We meet some interesting new characters, and we still get to see all the amazing characters from before. (And yes we get to see Rose and Dimitri in this one too).

I don't want to say too much, in fear of revealing a huge spoiler, but just so you know, the character development is amazing, the world-building is even better and honestly its just perfect. If you've liked the previous books in the series or Vampire Academy books, you will love this book. Why am I even telling you, you probably already know that.

Happy Reading,
-Aneta
